Why isn't this enough to split?

trying to split the closed polysurface (the ribbon), with the 2 surfaces as shown. The surface was extended as a line on z=0 then extruded upwards to create the two surfaces.

How can I keep my kitchen clean before cooking food?

The dirt seems to be from whenever they walk to and from the storage room for food. I've tried having the meal stockpile in the dining room (the marble floor there) to limit others from walking through the kitchen.

The colony is my first of this size, currently 26 humans and 3 panthers. I want to stop having to micromanage prioritising cleaning the kitchen, while not having to have 3 cleaners to keep up (colony is huge in size, and the dirt is constantly generated).

Why are my tool popouts fading when i'm not hovered over them?

This is a recent change that I must have accidentally caused on Rhino, but when using something like box edit, material properties, even the help menu, all fade away as soon as my cursor is no longer hovering over them. it's extremely annoying when trying to do... anything...

I've looked through all of the settings I can find (rhino settings are really a maze lmao) and I can't seem to describe my problem well enough for google or chatgpt to find any answers.

Be honest, does my landing page artwork look... not good...

My first time doing pixel art. It is meant to be a call to action for employers to look through my projects, while adding identity and interest to my landing page for my portfolio.
