I feel like making something look dirty or stained is just as difficult as making a clean piece of art (digitally), I used a painting program to paint and simulate a coffee stain, I think it looks pretty convincing, but I still feel like something's off about the technique. Any tips?

The Bill Cipher circle showed up in this black notebook journal and that makes me want to ask a question...

How many of YOU drew the Bill Cipher Circle just to see how cleanly you can pull it off?

I have a creeping feeling that there is a very large amount of Gravity Falls fans who did that.
I swear it has to be some sort of subconscious Bill Cipher Tax to pay for Gravity Falls Fan-Artists.
