Just a heads up, little tunnel that goes under Lakeshore Drive towards the lake and Jarvis conservatory is flooded. It's definitely not traversable, it's almost waist deep/at the railing height due to the recent rains. Anyone who's trying to get over to that side should either drive there, or go through Irving Park/ Belmont because those streets won't have that happening? I assume other underpasses have the same issues!
I recently bought a desk terrarium that should be self contained, and I can't tell what it is. There is no label and the company page is supremely unhelpful with a list of two dozen plants but no way to know which I purchased. I have a cat so I want to know if I can one day plant it larger pots without him being in danger if he interacts with it.
I live in Chicago, IL though obviously that won't matter too much for this.
Came across this at Montrose Bird Sanctuary in Chicago last year and remembered it when I was looking through older photos. It clearly has a duck beak but seems to be a very different pattern than the mallards I've come across. Is it just a different age or a fully different kind?
