Police and ambulance in a field A10/A14 junction

Drove along the A14 and saw police and ambulances in a field near A14/A10 junction. We were heading east and it was just before the junction. We drove back about 2 hours later, the police were still there along with about 20 vehicles, mostly pickup truck.

Any idea what's happened?

Fast food delivery

How is it that I see motor bike drivers with L plates making deliveries. When I drove for Sainsbury they wanted a full licence and a minimum of two years driving experience. How can the fast food industry get by using unqualified drivers? Do the drivers have to make safety checks at the start of their shift and how is this recorded? Are they insured for business use?

Then there are the electric bikes used for deliveries. Some of the bikes look absolutely knackered. Presumably these drivers don't even have a provisional licence.

It looks like a series of accidents waiting to happen. Are the companies taking the piss?
