Aliyah jobs?

I have been interviewing for a job. Have my final interview next week. It seems promising and they do not seem to care much that I have not made Aliyah yet as they are a global company. They are more keen on my experience which is about a year but very unique data center engineering experience with MSFT.

They haven’t said anything about money besides the fact they won’t match American salaries but idk what that means. Is it a 50% pay cut or 30% pay cut etc. to be fair my current pay is about 30% more than I should be making in my role in America because of negotiations etc

Curious what I should be expecting for salary if anyone has any insight.

Education: chem engineering degree
Experience: 1 year designing and testing data center (similar role to this is what I’m applying for)

Thanks in advance

Bibi Netanyahu and Israeli Government

I am going to say Bibi is not as bad as people say he is. Change my mind

I’m willing to be changed and I’m not a Bibi supporter but I strongly believe he is overhated and it isn’t particularly close

Failures that I think we can all acknowledge and are not limited to these:

The intelligence failure on 10/7 and even giving Hamas a chance to attack on that day with no support on the East and South. He bears a lot of that responsibility. I agree

The bribery and corrupt scandal. Every country has that. Is it excusable? Absolutely not. Is it the end of the world? Also no.

Funneling money to Hamas. Also being dealt a bad hand. He doesn’t allow it? Then he is starving Gaza. He allows it? Then he is enabling Hamas. Literally can’t win there. Please offer an alternative of what he should have done. Giving the money to the PA is also not a solution. They still participate in pay for slay

My main point is he is not a war criminal and not as bad in his overall policy as people say he is. In my opinion (no we are not victims) but Israel and Israeli PM are always under a microscope and dealt a bad hand. Does that give any excuse for anything. Absolutely not.

Please articulate why is he as bad as he is and what alternatives would be better (policy wise/leadership wise). Ideally you provide both policy and leadership change that you would support. Give realistic scenarios. Saying oh Hamas is better. IS NOT REALITY. Saying he sucks without providing an alternative that is legitimate does us no good

I want your opinion

I am trying to broaden my opinion and get an even better understanding of my fellow Jews opinion

Out of transparency: I am moving to Israel end of this year most likely

I am a really nuanced opinion and I hope more people share there’s. I am against settlements due to the backlash it is causing. I 100% condemn settler violence. Do I support Israel 100%? Yes to the point I am moving there as I mentioned. Do I think they are partially at fault for things? Also yes.

I want to hear more people’s perspective on this conflict as I think as a community we need to stop being so divided on the topic and unify to help ourselves with anti semitism

I have never seen a group so divided that is experiencing such hatred. Inside and outside of our own community. BLM was united together. We should be too but unfortunately we are not
