I am not an electrician. Left is the old panel, the right is the new. When I purchased my house, I mapped the outlets and rooms for the electrical panel. I was never able to locate the three 30 amp circuits 9 -11 so I just kept them off. There is a dryer outlet in the laundry, so assumed one of those may be for that. I updated the panel last year and the electrician added the 40 amp tandem (9&11 breaker) I think that's what it called). Questions:
Are the white wires on the 9&11 breaker hot or did I only ever have wiring for only two 30 amp circuits?
The other 30 amp is for the gas igniter on the cooktop but the outlet is a regular outlet, you know like 2 plugs and the outlet looks original so 1978. I thought 30 amp plugs were round. Could someone explain if this is correct?
I would like to add lighting and mini-split to an outdoor shed. How many slots would that take up?
Is it ok to add 6 more 20 amp circuits? It's not extra rooms, I've been reading code and the bathrooms are supposed to have a dedicated 20 amp but currently one circuit powers 2 bathrooms, part of the living room.
I would also like replace my roof with solar roof with backup battery and a Generac? How many slots do I need for this? Still thinking about this.
Lastly, is this box capable of 3 and 4. I did inform the electrician last year, this is what I was planning.
Thanks in advance for all your help.
Edit: Here's a better photo.
