I ordered 14 large size storage totes

My basement flooded. I need to move everything to waterproof totes after I clean it (anything I don't throw away!). I door dashed a whole bunch of those giant Costco sized (like those yellow/black) totes so I can keep working while someone delivers them to me.

I got a call from the Dasher to say they couldn't fit them and it would take 3 trips! Fyi I am about 7-10 min away from the store. I had tipped $20 in the app. I told the Dasher they could cancel the order or I could leave extra for them.

I had just assumed DD would look at the order and account for the car size and size of the order! My bad... Actually bad on door dash, that shouldn't be a hard feature to implement.

Anyway dasher said extra is fine. She said her BF/husband/partner is with her and could help transport.

I gave her (them?) an additional $100 cash.

Is that reasonable or should I have canceled? She seemed happy with it but I want to make sure because she may have been being polite. We are Midwestern women lol we tend to do that. I know this is probably a stupid post but honestly I used to be a waitress (way back when... Many many years ago lol) so I try my best to tip my service workers well because I understand how hard they work. But with inflation and everything.... I honestly have zero clue what is considered a reasonable amount.

This Dasher went above and beyond for me and I don't want to screw her.

Thank you for your advice.

Why does my cat attack my ankles after we come inside?

1yo kitten, I started taking him outside about a month ago. Mostly just in the yard, once to a park. He loves it, and he will explore, come up to give me little nuzzles, and then go off to explore some more. At first this would wear him out, and he'd sleep like a long through the night.

Lately, it seems he gets aggressive when we go inside. I let him explore for an hour tonight, only making him come in when the mosquitos got too bad. Once we got in the house he started attacking my ankles HARD, I mean really biting them. He never acts aggressive otherwise - sometimes if he wants to play/attention he will give me a gentle little nibble but that's it.

I'm newer to car ownership, looking for some insight. Thank you!
