WHEN: UST FCL BATCH 3 RESULTS

Hello! For those who’ve already been interviewed, did they tell you when they’ll release the results? I read in a support group (fb) that results might come out around the 2nd or 3rd week of August. I wasn't expecting them to be released that late. 😭

Need Advice: Manila School or State University Close to Home?

Hello! I’m torn between choosing a university outside our hometown and a state university near our city.

My main concern is housing. I know I’m the type of learner who really values having a comfortable place to study, especially knowing how demanding law school can be. But it’s been hard to find a place in Manila where I can actually see myself feeling comfortable and at peace.
The state university near our city offers that peace of mind since I’d be close to home, but I’m scared I might miss out on a lot of opportunities if I let go of the Manila school. At the same time, I’m also worried that if I choose Manila, I’ll always have that lingering “what if” about how things could have turned out had I chosen the state university instead.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? I’d really appreciate any advice or insights.

Can I enroll in another university while waiting for UST admission results?

Hi! I’m about to have my UST interview, and I’m already thinking ahead since I still have to wait for the results afterward. I’m worried that if I wait too long, I might miss the enrollment period for other universities in case I don’t get accepted.

Is it possible to enroll in another university first to secure a slot, then withdraw if I get accepted into UST? Has anyone here gone through the same situation? I’d really appreciate any advice or experiences. =//

syllogism

probably a no brainer question for u all, but for questions like this, what's the answer? i'm quite familiar with the formats, but not certain whether to choose (b) false or (c) cannot be certain

All scientists are smart people.
James is a smart person.
Therefore, James is a scientist.

(a) True

(b) False

(c) Cannot be certain
