When you work from home, your dog becomes your co-worker

For 15 and a half years, I have had the best co-worker. She never complained, kept my feet warm, listened to me vent about work, encouraged me to take breaks, and reminded me a snack makes everything better.

She was my best friend and the best co-worker. My heart is completely broken.

Shout out to the "non-Ivy" kids

The kids who busted their asses and maybe grades didn't come easily, but worked just as hard. The kids who didn't have private this and that, maybe didn't have enough money for lunch sometimes. The kids who had diagnoses, issues outside of high school. The kids who are tired from just having to work harder.

The kids who applied to colleges, ANY colleges - got in, and are attending.
That alone is an accomplishment.

This page can sometimes feel a little...I hope seeing these posts didn't discourage you or make you feel "less than". Your education is just as important, and will lead you to a brighter future.
