Since around May 2026, a small rooster colony has apparently claimed the Home Depot parking lot in Otay Mesa off Palm Avenue.
They're mildly annoying, mildly entertaining, and seem to have acquired a support staff, as I occasionally see plates of food left out for them. I have no connection in any official capacity to Home Depot or the neighboring community, so I. can't speak for legalities of rounding them up, but it would be nice if they ended up on a forever farm instead of living the parking lot lifestyle.
Great guest list today:
Another charger blinks red and green.
So the number on the bottom begins with NC23313... Which I presume means 3/31/2023.
I checked my receipt and this was originally orded from Home Depot 10/27/2023. Am I still qualified for warranty?
I was considering a RockShox wireless dropper since I’m already on SRAM wireless, but I came across a YouTube review of the SEEKRUN S7 at about a third of the price. Found a high-volume seller on AliExpress at $215 after fees and it arrived to California in 9 days. Well packaged, battery came charged, and it works as expected. I went with the 100mm travel to swap between my small hardtail and gravel bike, although the seat tubes had allowance for more travel. Seatpost came pre-paired with the trigger but included instructions in case it loses connecction. The downside is it’s not serviceable per a teardown video from another Youtuber. Also, wireless droppers are kinda heavy just under 2lbs. Minor gripe, that silver part with the logo, I may need to paint black due to my OCD.
