So my doc finally agreed it’s time for me to try something new. My two options are rinvoq or remicade. I’m stuck btwn the two bc infusions tend to make you more tired, but the idea of adding another pill to my daily meds when I already take so many is just a lot. Does anyone have advice? Or has experience with both? Thanks

Hi, I’m currently in a flare but the symptoms are something I’ve never experienced. So this started bc of the insurance hellscape that decided to stop covering my medication. I’ve had mucous and blood and left sided pain (I have pancolitis), but no diarrhea or urgency. I go to the bathroom like once a week. I take stool softeners and miralax, I’ve tried fiber. Granted I’m not eating much. But has anyone experienced a flare with constipation. My doc didn’t believe me, made have a sigmoid flex, and X-rays and an ultrasound coming up. Even with biopsies showing inflammation. Unfortunately where I live I don’t have many options in changing doctors. She has decided to keep me on a med that has stopped working and adding mesalamine suppositories that never worked. I’m angry, frustrated, tired, and wish I could just tell her what I think.

Hi, I was prescribed the mesalamine enemas, they made me sick. It came in a box of 3 packages, 2 of these packages are unopened/sealed. Would anyone want them? It’s free…I’m in VA, will mail within the states.
