Found awesome light diffusers – wanted to share the wealth 💡

My cabinet has a lot of begonias and other light-sensitive plants that were sitting too close for comfort to the lights. I searched for solutions that wouldn’t look like complete crap or be a fire hazard. Lol

Found these on Amazon, and they’re perfect. All I had to do was drill a few small holes to weave the wire through them. Wanted to share the recommendation for anyone looking to do something similar. ☺️

Wrapping up cabinet #3 👀

Pretty sure this one’s my best one yet! 😍 It’s a UNICOLY cabinet – the MILSBO knockoff. Lol… Still have a couple more things to do, like add a little more lighting on the bottom half, install some covers to diffuse it, and a little bit of cord management, but other than that, it’s pretty much done! I intend to hang a couple more plants from that gold bar under the second shelf. Haven’t decided on what though.

Latest addition to my peperomia family 🤩

I'd seen pictures of the Creme Brulees online, but they don't hold a candle to (loosely a creme brulee pun lol) what they actually look like in person! The colors and marbling are gorgeous! 😍

Begonia 'Compana' appreciation

I have 60ish begonias, and while I find them all stunning, I can never seem to get enough of my begonia 'Compana.' The leaves are soft and decadent with a dark elegance – kinda like someone tie-dyed velvet. 😍

Added a begonia "Cathedral" to my collection today 😍

Have zero recollection of where I first saw or heard about these begonias, but I remember it being love at first sight! They're so unique and gorgeous, and their leaves look like stained glass (hence the name lol). Found a seller, and it arrived earlier today!

Anyone else have one of these beauties??

Side note: pulled the last pic from the National Gardening Association's site to show what it'll look like when it matures. ☺️

Anyone else have a caperata whose flower spikes smell EXACTLY like a fresh bottle of pine cleaner? 🌲

I have over a dozen caperatas, and usually, their flower spikes are just faintly earthy or have no scent at all. But this specific one is incredibly fragrant and has a beautiful, aromatic, and kinda citrusy pine scent. (For the US & Canada folks, it smells identical to Pine Sol.)

Is this a cultivar quirk, or did I just luck out with a fragrant mutant? ... I don't know of a way to ask if anyone else's flower spikes smell great without sounding like a weirdo. 😆

Saw this gorgeous begonia today at a local nursery - anyone know the ID?

Came across a post of someone trying to ID one that was similar, but there were no responses. 😕 Hopefully, this time will be different! Anyone know the ID of this beauty?

My beautiful Bessie 🥰

Bessie’s a Bluetick and American English coonhound mix, and she just turned 2 on May 15th. 🥳

The sleeping beauty behind her is my other fur daughter, Franny. 🥰

Help with ID for this beauty?

UPDATE: Never mind – figured it out. It's a Benigo Pink. 🙂

Got this begonia a couple weeks ago, and I’m conflicted on the ID. Used Google image search, and I’m getting Benigo Pink and Miss Mummy. If we’re being honest, I don’t see the difference in either ID, even though it says they’re two “distinctly different cultivars.” 😅 Thoughts?

Begonia "Fireflush"

Newest addition to my begonia collection ☺️ (It's a little contorted 'cause it just arrived in the mail lol)

Loving my second cabinet! 😍

Posted a little over week ago about my first cabinet, and I just wrapped up my second one last night. Have to say that I think I love the second one more than the first! 🥰

PS: I plan to add some more sealant over the weekend to help boost the humidity. My other cabinet sits between 80-85%. Haven’t been able to get this one above 75%.

Can anyone help with an ID?

Got this cutie over the weekend, but it didn't have an ID on the label. I have both a "Piccolo Banda" and a "Peppermill," but their leaves are short and broad. Color-wise, it's closer to the Peppermill. Thoughts on ID?

Withlacoochee progress 😍

Got a small Withlacoochee cutting from a friend of mine’s plant on New Year’s Eve, and it’s flourished over the past four months! Was doing a progress update for it in my plant app and was blown away. It’s truly a stunning begonia!

Completed my first Fabrikor over the weekend, and I’m in love!! 😍 I’m so happy with how it came out! The shelves and pegboard are from Modern Aqua, and I found out that their pegboards accommodate IKEA’s Skadis accessories, so the two little shelves are just regular Skadis shelves that I covered to match the background.

Got a second one off FB marketplace, and I’m looking forward to watching this one come to life… followed by an Akerbar, as well! ☺️
