I built a cozy bus empire game — Ekene — inspired by my childhood in Nigeria

In Nigeria it’s common to travel home every December from the cities in coach buses such as these.

I built a cozy game to capture that childhood nostalgia. I drew the artwork with lots of cultural elements and the game music is me singing and humming a tune I composed.

The game works by starting you off in one city with one donkey, (or a camel if your selected starting point is in northern Nigeria), and you load your animal and make deliveries of people and cargo (and even other animals) to the paired city nearby your home city to earn money, which is called Kobo in the game.

The purpose of the game is to build your transportation empire by buying new vehicles and expanding to new cities.

I may eventually make it multiplayer but it is single player for now.

AI USAGE DISCLOSURE:

AI is not used IN the game.

AI is used to test the game every time a new release comes out and fix errors and bugs found.

Just banned from r/FeminismUncensored because they want to censor Gender Critical Feminists

This was my first and last time commenting on that sub, but the degree to which almost all feminist spaces have been hijacked and psychologically colonised by TRAs is too high.
