Does all their sorcery cause paradox now? Is it possible that awakening could be a net negative for an accomplished sorcerer at least until they adjust?

I like the idea that a person “gains power” but in the sort term it just makes their life more difficult and any benefits are things they have to “grow into”. Perhaps they want to go back to how things were. Puberty metaphor maybe.

I’m a little nervous to try testing it myself. So I thought it would be better to ask if anyone else has tried it first.
