If anyone is going to GalaxyCon next weekend, I’m hosting two panels on Saturday. I’d love to see you there!

I have two panels, both on Saturday.

This first one is: Preview of Halloween Horror Nights 35 at 5:45 in room 292. We’ll go over a preview of HHN 35 in Orlando. We’ll cover what’s been announced, rumors of what is still to be announced, and tips and tricks to make the most of your visit.

The second one is: Horror Films of 2026 (so far) at 8:00 in room 291. In this panel, we will cover the horror films that have released so far this year and discuss our favorites and least favorites. We’ll also discuss the ones we’re most looking forward to for the rest of the year.

Please come by! I love audience interaction and conversation during the panels.

Is there a way I can stop getting Reels notifications every time I open the app?

It started about a month ago or so. Every time I open the app, it tells me that I have 3 Reels notifications. It’s annoying because I’m one of those people who hate push notifications. I only ever open the Reels section to get rid of the notifications. I went in and supposedly turned off notifications for Reels, but yet I’m still receiving the notifications. Does anyone know how to get them to stop?

AMC Bayou Upgrades

For anyone patiently waiting for the IMAX and Dolby screens to open, like me, I talked to a manager yesterday. They said the manager training for the new screens will be at the end of June. They plan to open IMAX July 4th weekend with Dolby to follow in a few weeks.

He said they were in the middle of talking to their booking department now to try to add showtimes for Toy Story 5, Supergirl, Odyssey, and Spider-Man at least to these screens. So keep an eye out on the app for showtimes in the coming weeks.
