I've always thought Edward (img 1) would fit a creepy theme with an emphasis on VHS tapes, Billy's (img 2) is pretty self explanatory with Christmas nostalgia, while Masacrik and Strawberry (img 3) are very hospital themed!

I'm Colombian while Edward is from the US! (Specifically the state of New York, while it's never specified if he was born in Poughkeepsie, he can still be from New York).

Billy is Canadian, Masacrik & Strawberry's are Russian and my secret F/O is british, hehe.

I would LOVE to visit the US one day and maybe Poughkeepsie.

Question mostly aimed at people with particularly evil F/O's! (◕‿◕)

If I'm perfectly honest, I'm a little dissatisfied with the way people chose to engage with Edward Carver as a character when The Poughkeepsie Tapes became available. I think people severely overestimate how evil he is compared to other fictional villains and it makes me sad 99% of comments about him are about how "he's the most evil horror movie villain ever" or "the most evil found footage villain in fiction". I won't deny he's very evil and fucked up but, I don't know, he doesn't really do anything out of the ordinary serial killer stuff and it just pisses me off that's all people talk about! Especially when they use it as ammo to say I shouldn't selfship with him. Oh how I wish people acknowledged him as a character more </3 I love writing for him and theorizing about his personality outside of the killing, I wish people did that more with villain characters.

Although the amount hasn't been over 5 (for now) I counted like 4 people directly going to my DMs like "yumeshipping a rapist is crazy" "rapist btw" "isn't he a rapist" etc, i'm like, omgggg i know i watched the movie, probably more times than you btw ✌️I know The Poughkeepsie Tapes yumeshippers are almost nonexistent and most of the people simping for Edward Carver wouldn't be considered selfshippers but like, I don't care, I love Edward and he's my top 2 F/O. They're prolly mad I'm having wayyyy much more fun than they'll ever have ( ` ω ´ )

I myself don't agree with some writing decisions the directors had with Edward (I'm pretty alright with how Billy and Masacrik are written, I'm mostly ok with Strawberry's writing), and even though I love love loooove him with all my heart, I still change these little things. I still love him, I just hate the way he's written sometimes (⁠.⁠ ⁠❛⁠ _ ⁠❛⁠.⁠) I just wanted to know if anyone else felt like this and hated one big thing about how their f/os are written, and whether or not they change this.
