When you’re taking the bus, how hard do you “touch here to open doors?”

There’s so many different ways people open the door. I touch it with a decent amount of strength and hold my hand there for a couple seconds, and tap like that again if it doesn’t open. I’ve seen people bang on it quickly, other people lightly tap it with just their fingers and not their palm.

Similarly, when you tap to pay on public transit, does your phone/card touch the reader or do you hold it above it without touching. I didn’t realize until recently that I tap the reader with the top corner of my phone. Little things, curious about how everyone else lives their lives!

Best post-of day 3 foods to bring to a beach?

Hi, I got my wisdom teeth out yesterday morning and am debating going to the beach with my friends tomorrow (basically no pain aside from swelling). If I do go, what are some snacks I should bring? My go-to has always been chips and then getting a burger, fries, or burrito at the beach so none of that would work. I could pack a cold pasta salad maybe? They have great ice cream but I know I’ll get too hungry if I don’t have a real snack. Thanks!

Wireless Go II -- onboard recording time limit?

Hi, I'm considering using my wireless go 2 exclusively for onboard recording. I keep seeing online that it saves in 31 minute files but also can store hours of recording, if I record continuously will it automatically stop after 31 mins or will it continuously record?

For context, my friend is proposing and they asked if my mic would be able to record it, but it's going to be about 90 mins between the two meeting up and the actual proposal, and we don't want to be pressing buttons when trying to not spoil the surprise lol

Thanks!

Is this layer mold or sourdough byproduct?

Hi, I’ve had my sourdough starter for almost three months now, I fed it last night as I always to. The past two days have been warmer than usual and my kitchen started getting direct sunlight, so I was going to put it in the fridge tonight and saw this weird layer on top of my starter. My starter also was significantly more liquidy than I’ve ever seen before. I tried to stir the top layer back in but it still seems to float on the top. I know that heat is not starter’s friend but is this something that can still be consumed or should I start over?
