Kentucky's Place in the National Economy - Visual Capitalist
Saw this pie (??) chart on Visual Capitalist today and thought it drives home how severely our economy lags just about everyone of national relevance.
Third lowest in the Southeast after West Virginia & Arkansas. Multiple hundreds of BILLIONS behind neighboring states like Indiana, Ohio, and Tennessee. Behind states like Connecticut, Louisiana, South Carolina, and Alabama (?!?!).
If you wanted a pictorial that shows why some of us feel pessimistic about building & maintaining a life here in Kentucky... well, this is it.

Are political texts not part of the Do Not Call registry?
My phone has been on FIRE the last two weeks with local candidates begging for my vote. I certainly did not sign up to receive this on top of the redwood-killing volume of paper flyers.
