I haven't been playing for very long but I noticed the "burst" mechanic (that costs 2 EX meter) seems a bit strong and it completely kills momentum. Sometimes the tag burst would follow me after a launch and sometimes it doesn't. My question is how do you consistently bait the bursts in the game? If I know someone is about to burst my combo, I should have an option to avoid it hitting me right?

Hello! I've been thinking about this a lot, as I usually do with newer atlus titles. It feels like the honeymoon phase for this game has faded (for me anyway) and I still genuinely think this is one of the better atlus games of recent times. Personally loved SMTVV and Metaphor, mainly cuz they feel like they've continuously been improving on their gameplay loops. Not to mention, Digital Devil Saga/Etrian being kind of having their influences on metaphor is something that I look back on fondly.

How do you guys feel about this game now?
