8000+ hours and never found this place before. How did I find it? A radio playing from underneath a slab of rock.
This game still provides after all that time.
So I had just started a new camp with my Ghoul character, just west of the Gilman Lumber Mill, and every time I log in, there is a new group of wildlife about, very close to the camp.
On my last login, I found a black cat and a ginger cat and quickly spawned in my glowing cat (called Curie). Instead of running to me, she made a bee line to be with the other cats, with whom she spent her time as I crafted my camp.
The moment felt apt; my new camp is a run down and abandoned Parish Church, my Ghoul is finding solitude in a once place of community, even if the humans that were once there would dismissed him in fear, he finds a solace in the humanity he lost and so the same applied to Curie, except the cats were more forgiving or accepting.
I am glad she got to spend some time with her kind, I hope they come again soon....
