i understand the outrage over her taking andy’s job and being very rude to people in the beginning, and i don’t think her character was likable at all during the florida subplot, but once she found her place in the series, nellie became one of my favorite characters from the show.

by s9 she became a lot more of a “normal” character like jim and pam instead of one of the ridiculous characters you’re supposed to laugh at in s8 and even as far back as the search committee in s7. she had to have a bit of a character development, but i found her energy and often her subplots to be a welcome addition to the final season
