Help replacing an outdoor cork/tile tabletop.
I’ve got a table that’s been sitting on my porch for many years, and recently the bottom seems to have started failing/falling apart. I’ve really got no clue what I’m doing, and have no wood working tools, but I’d like to replace the bottom before it fails.
Currently the tiles are sitting ontop of a large thick piece of cork. Short of having the guys at homedepot cut me to size a slice of pre-warped 4x8 of plywood, is there any other route I can take? I’d prefer to have a fix that works for many years. This table gets a little bit of rain.
It would be awesome to just get a piece of wood, and put the tiles right on top of it. But I’m sure there’s cushioning needed in some way etc
Any help is appreciated, thank you
