Advice on Lebanese Cedar Tabletop
First time poster here looking for some advice with regards to a Lebanese Cedar tabletop we’ve had cut and made for our new homes dining table.
We had it made by a local woodworker, who delivered it last Saturday and we’ve noticed it’s still has a slight sticky/tackiness to it when touching it or putting items onto it. Is this something that is likely to reduce as the products used to seal it soak in or do we need to do anything extra ourselves?
Someone else recommended we use Howard feed n wax wood polish and conditioner, beeswax and orange oil variant to be rubbed in sparingly and then buffed away. We have this now so can start putting it on, but just wanted to check we weren’t doing something obviously wrong or missing a trick that a more experienced eye might spot.
Any help much appreciated!
