Advice on Lebanese Cedar Tabletop

First time poster here looking for some advice with regards to a Lebanese Cedar tabletop we’ve had cut and made for our new homes dining table.

We had it made by a local woodworker, who delivered it last Saturday and we’ve noticed it’s still has a slight sticky/tackiness to it when touching it or putting items onto it. Is this something that is likely to reduce as the products used to seal it soak in or do we need to do anything extra ourselves?

Someone else recommended we use Howard feed n wax wood polish and conditioner, beeswax and orange oil variant to be rubbed in sparingly and then buffed away. We have this now so can start putting it on, but just wanted to check we weren’t doing something obviously wrong or missing a trick that a more experienced eye might spot.

Any help much appreciated!

Skaven/Mandrakes Proxy

I’m looking at putting together a Skaven-themed proxy for the Mandrakes Kill Team and was hoping to get some ideas/help.

So far I’ve got the Plaguepack set in my head as a good cover. The five main models seem to map quite nicely onto three of the Mandrake specialists plus two warriors. The firey plague aesthetic also feels like a good fit thematically for the Mandrakes and hopefully makes it distinctive enough to figure out which model is which competitively.

What I’m struggling with is finding suitable models for the rest of the team.

Ideally I’m looking for:
* Current UK-available Skaven kits
* Models that are roughly the right size and silhouette as the Mandrake equivalent
* A Pestilens/plague monk style where possible, to keep the whole force visually consistent

Has anyone built a Skaven Mandrakes team before, or got suggestions for kits that would work well? I’m happy to do some light kitbashing, head swaps, weapon swaps, etc., but I’d prefer to stay mostly within the existing GW Skaven range if possible. Also happy to go for other Skaven models if they’re particularly cool.
