[Sherpa Card][PC] Kalikrys, Scourge Captain - Aspiring Spider Tank Commander

Hello Guardians! My name is Kalikrys, or Kali, and like many of my fellow sherpas I've decided to take the Monument of Triumph update as an opportunity to refresh my (admittedly dated) sherpa card. You can find the old one here, but I hope to keep this one a little more brief!

>About me:

I've been raiding for about six years, ever since I started playing in Season of the Worthy. I taught my first raid by accident not long after that, when it turned out I was the only person in a Scourge of the Past run who knew what they were doing! I had a blast, along with everyone else, and I realized I had discovered the way I wanted to play Destiny - helping other people out and making new friends along the way.

>About my raids

As far as I'm concerned, any sherpa raid led by me is about fun and the experience first-and-foremost, and speed/ease of clear second. I want everyone to come out feeling that they firmly understand every role, and played a strong part in helping the team succeed. That means I have a responsibility to offer a thorough explanation and answers to every question, and your responsibility to arrive with the correct mindset and have some of those questions for me to answer!

>Loadout recommendations

I subscribe to the school of thought that nearly every raid available right now can be completed with any reasonable loadout. I won't ask you to have the current meta (which I doubt will be changing any time soon), but you should come prepared with a selection of various legendary weapons and exotic armors. I don't believe anyone should be excluded from completing raids, but do remember that they are technically the most advanced endgame content and prepare accordingly.

>Contacting me

Here's a list of my contacts on a couple different platforms, feel free to message me there or here on Reddit anytime and I'll try to get back to you promptly.

[LTS][PC][Crossplay][DSC] Join me for a teaching run through the Deep Stone Crypt tonight (6/25) at 10:45PM!

Edit: We're now full, but I look forward to more sherpas in the near future!

Hey Guardians! I'm joining many of my fellow sherpas and helping folks, new and old, with getting through some of their bucket list raids. In this case, that means DSC! I'm helping a few of my personal friends run it tonight, but we have three empty slots and would love for you to join!

Please read my sherpa card for the basics (and enjoy it before I update it soon!), but the gist is as follows: We'll be using discord, you'll want some semblance of a loadout, and be prepared to have fun! I know this one is pretty late at night, so we'll keep the energy level... appropriate.

DM me or comment below and I'll sign you up!

I want as many people as possible to experience D2's endgame before we send it off into the sunset

MODS: If you need to remove this, I totally understand why. It is not intended as an LFG post, but I can certainly imagine that it blurs the line a little.

There's a lot going on in Destiny, some bad, some good, some Eververse Store, but for me the absolute best time I've ever had was smashing bosses with my friends in raids and dungeons. I started playing solo in 2020, and I'll tell you: the gunplay was fun, the visuals were eye-candy, but the raids... the RAIDS hooked me.

Ironically enough that period of time was very similar to this one: we had just a few months to play as much content as we could before it was vaulted (I know that isn't the case right now, but emotionally it feels just as stressful).

Unfortunately raids and dungeons can have a high equipment and knowledge entry barrier which is why I wanted to make this post and ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO GO HIT SOME RAIDS. Please, please go out of your comfort zone: Meet some new people, learn things from scratch, don't be afraid to walk unfamiliar territory. It's what Guardians do.

r/DestinySherpa was my stomping grounds for a long time, I would encourage anyone hoping to learn to start there. If folks out there know raids, I would encourage them to give the community a few sherpa runs worth of their time. Heck, feel free to give me a DM if you have a specific activity in mind.

Get out there and experience what made this game different.
