Bed bug bites? Woke up with these

Woke up itching on my lower back and saw these big red bumps. Are these bed bugs? I didn’t leave the house yesterday. Went to a coffee shop and sat there for 15 mins the day before yesterday and went to my friend’s for an hour after the coffee shop. Only last night I slept shirtless and woke up with this. I was also sitting outside on my deck in the backyard for 10 mins yesterday evening. Could I have bed bugs??

Oahu or Maui with Kauai in pregnancy and toddlers

Hey everyone! I’m planning a vacation to Hawaii in early August with three families. My family has a two-year-old, my brother’s family has a three-year-old, and my cousin’s family will have a 30-week pregnant woman. With these eight people, we’re definitely going to Kauai, our favorite island. Now, we’re torn between Maui and Oahu.

We’re staying in Princeville on Kauai in a house. We’ll be doing a lot of driving there. If we go to Maui, we plan to stay at the Hyatt Vacation Club in Kaanapali, which is a resort with kid pools and other amenities. We’ve already been to Maui and loved it. If we go to Oahu, we’d stay in a Waikiki hotel (not a resort) about a 10-15-minute walk from the beach.

We’ve never been to Oahu, but we’ve been to Kauai and Maui. I think Kauai might be a bit tiring with all the driving and stuff, so we might need a relaxing resort vacation in Maui afterward. However, my cousin thinks we should go to Oahu because we’ve never been there, and Kauai is already relaxing since there won’t be many activities to do, and we’ll mostly be relaxing on the beach and a small hike or two.

I’m a bit hesitant about Oahu because it’s super crowded. With two active boy toddlers and a 30-week pregnant woman, walking around would be hard. If we do the Kualoa Ranch tour and other tours, and go snorkeling, it would be very tiring for the kids because they’ll get restless in the heat. In contrast, Maui has kid pools, lawn areas where they can run around, and Hyatt also has animals. There’s also a beach right at the resort.

I’d really appreciate any advice you can give us. Thanks everyone!
