Second year summer Internship

I’m in secons year I have a doubt regarding the summer internship.Should I do an internship from outside college?Like is there any strictness second years ke liye becoz first year mei toh kaafi chill tha but second year mei kuch serious hota hai kya? Like number mil jaate hain na kahin se bhi karo?Aur questions kuch deeply puchte Hai kya?
Plus agar College ki ML internship ka koi idea ho toh bata do pls
