Me and my girlfriend are looking for a transport from Karakol to Altyn-Arashan on July15 for one way only. It can be either a Soviet car, UAZ, military vehicle or 4x4 etc., we just looking for transport to Altyn-Arashan.

Külföldi utazáshoz szükségem lenne körülbelül 1500$ készpénzre (Kirgizisztánban főleg csak készpénzt fogadnak el) és ebben szeretnék segítséget kérni, hogy hogyan érdemes ezt csinálni?

Revoluton EUR-ban van a pénzem, viszont ott extra díjok nélkül áttudom váltani dollárra.

Esetleg van Budapesten olyan automata, amiből közvetlen dollárt lehet kivenni? Mert akkor ez lehet jobban megérné még a díjakkal is, mintsem átváltani az EUR-t egy pénzváltónál USD-re.

Ha pedig nincs és pénzt érdemes váltani, régebbi posztoknál a Correct Change-t ajánlották sokan, ez még mindig így van, vagy azóta esetleg van más/jobb megoldás?

Fontos, hogy mindenképp szép és új USD-t kapjunk, mivel Kirgizisztánban a régebbi vagy rosszul kinéző bankjegyeket nem fogadják el, mivel ott pedig KGS-re kell átváltanunk a pénzt.

(Elvileg lehetne vinni EUR-t is, de azt nem annyira szeretik, illetve elvileg rosszabbul váltják, mint a dollárt.)

This summer we’re traveling to Kyrgyzstan, where we’ll be doing multi-day “mountain” hikes (2,500 m-4,000 m), and we won’t have the opportunity to buy water. Since we can’t carry enough water with us for several days, we’ll have to get our water from streams and rivers.

I think I understand the part about always trying to get water from a continuously flowing stream or river water that’s clean, doesn’t smell bad, and has the lowest risk of contamination.

Then we need to filter this water using a water filter (I bought a Sawyer Squeeze) to remove dirt, debris, and, most importantly, bacteria.

However, I’m a bit unsure about what to do next. Since the filter didn’t remove the viruses, those need to be filtered out afterward. As far as I know, I have two options: either boil the water or use some form of chemical purification, which can be done with tablets?

As far as I know, the advantage of boiling is that it’s probably the safest method. On the other hand, you need a gas stove to bring the water to a boil, and then you can’t drink it right away, you have to wait hours for it to cool down (or drink it as tea).

As far as I know, chemical purification can be done with tablets by adding the appropriate number of tablets to water that has already been filtered through a filter(Sawyer Squeeze), then waiting a little while for the tablets to kill the viruses, after which the water will be safe to drink?

So, the advantages are that it kills viruses relatively quickly and makes the water drinkable right away, and it’s easy to do.

However, I haven’t found much information about how safe it is, how healthy it is, and where it’s best to buy these tablets and exactly which kind to get.

So, to summarize, my question is: after filtering the water, how should I remove any remaining viruses? By boiling or using chemicals? If using tablets, which ones should I buy and where?

Kezdő túrázó vagyok, az elmúlt időben próbálok minél több mindennek utána nézni minél alaposabban és most jutottam el a vízszűrésig.

Nyáron Kirgizisztánba fogunk utazni, ahol több napos "hegyi" túrákat (2500m-4000m) fogunk csinálni és víz vásárlására nem lesz lehetőségünk. Mivel több napra nem tudunk elegendő vizet magunkkal vinni, ezért patakokból/folyókból kell majd a vizet szereznünk.

Azt a részét már szerintem értem, hogy mindig törekedni kell rá, hogy folyamatosan mozgó/folyó vízből vegyünk vizet, ami tiszta és nem büdös és ahol a legkisebb esély van a szennyezettségre.

Majd egy vízszűrővel (én egy Sawyer Squeeze-t vettem) át kell szűrni ezt a vizet, hogy a koszt, darabokat és legfőképp a baktériumokat kiszűrjük vele.

Viszont ezután kicsit kérdéses nekem, hogy hogyan tovább. Mivel a vírusokat a filter nem szedte ki, azokat kell utána kiszűrni. Ha jól tudom, két lehetőségem van, vagy vizet forralok vagy valamilyen kémiai tisztítást csinálok, amiket tablettákkal lehet csinálni.

A forralásnak ha jól tudom az az előnye, hogy ez talán a legbiztonságosabb, cserébe viszont kell egy gázfőző, amivel mindig felforraljuk a vizet, majd utána nem is tudjuk egyből inni, hanem várni kell órákat, amire kihül (vagy teaként isszuk).

A kémiai tisztítás ha jól tudom tablettákkal lehet csinálni és úgy, hogy a filterrel már átszűrt vízbe dobunk az adagolásnak megfelelő mennyiségű tablettát, majd várni kell kicsit, amíg megöli a vírusokat és utána iható lesz a víz?
Tehát az az előnyre, hogy viszonylag gyorsan megöli a vírusokat és hamar iható a víz, egyszerű csinálni.
Viszont nem találtam erről túl sok információt, hogy mennyire biztonságos, mennyire egészséges és hogy hol érdemes és pontosan milyen tablettát venni?

Szóval összefoglalva az lenne a kérdésem, hogy a vízszűrés után a fennmaradó vírusokat hogyan érdemes kiszűrni, forralással vagy kémiai úton? Ha kémiai úton tablettával, akkor pedig milyet és hol érdemes venni?

Emellett bármiféle tanácsot, ajánlást vagy tippet szívesen fogadok!

Szüleim beköltöztek egy panelba egy ideje és sajnos erősen penészesedik a lakás. Emelt földszinten van a lakás, viszont szinte minden oldalról fűtetlen raktárok veszik körül. A lakás mellett jobb és balra is fűtetlen jéghideg tárolók vannak, így egyedül a felső szomszéd, ahonnan nem a hideg jön.

Ennek eredménye, hogy szinte minden fal a lakásban tiszta penész. Ráadásul egy körülbelül már fél éve egyre erősödő felső-légúti problémák kezdtek el náluk jelentkezni, amit habár még nem vizsgáltattak ki részletesen, elég erősen azt sejtjük, hogy ezt is a penész okozza.

Amilyen gyakran és amennyit csak lehet, szellőztetnek, ha hideg van, akkor sincs túl melegre fűtve a lakás, ilyen 20-22 fokra és ha meleg van, akkor sincs túlságosan kihűtve. Páratartalom 30-60% között szokott lenni, időjárástól függően változó. Van náluk a szobában egy légtisztító is, hogy szűrje a levegőt. De ezek sajnos mind csak tüneti kezelések, talán valamit javítanak a helyzeten, de jó nem lesz tőle.

Szóval ilyenkor mit lehet/érdemes tenni?

Megpróbáltunk utána nézni és azt találtuk, hogy a falakról teljesen le kellene kaparni a penészt, akár a festékkel/vakolattal is teljesen, majd esetleg valamilyen ózonos fertőtlenítő segítségével kitisztítani a falakat és utána penész elleni festékkel újrafesteni.

Ha van még más hasznos ötletetek vagy javaslatotok, azokat is nagyon szívesen fogadjuk.

Viszont azért nekem vannak ezzel kapcsolatban kétségeim, mert az eredeti problémát nem oldja meg és félek, hogy bár ezek segíteni fognak, hosszú távon ugyan úgy vissza fog jönni a penész. Az én feltételezésem, mint laikus, hogy ezt csak úgy lehetne megoldani hosszútávon, ha a raktárakat is legalább valamilyen élhető hőmérsékletre felfűtenének. Viszont ha van alternatív megoldás is erre, azokat a javaslatokat is szívesen fogadom.

Ilyenkor kihez érdemes még fordulni?

A közös képviselő annyira nem opció, mivel még a bejárati ajtót se volt hajlandó megjavíttatni, amit mindenki használ a lépcsőházban.

Tudnátok esetleg ajánlani cégeket is, akik ilyennel foglalkoznak és tényleg minőségi munkát csinálnak, illetve értenek is hozzá, nem csak eladnak egy szolgáltatást, ami 2 hétig megoldja a problémát, majd újra visszajön, hanem hosszú távú megoldási megoldásokat is tudnak nyújtani/ajánlani?

My and my girlfriend are travelling to Kyrgyzstan in July and we are looking for a private Driver, who would take us to our desired places according to our itinerary. We want a driver who can speak english, flexible, kind, friendly and available between July8-July14.

Our budget is around 150$/day for 2 person, so the total for the 7 days would be 1050$. We can be a little bit flexible with the price. The price should include the Driver, car, fuel, food of the driver and the accomodation of the driver.

We are also looking for a driver/guide for a 3day Ala-Kul tour between July15-17.
(I'm not too familiar with the Ala-Kul tour, so it's more recommended for a 2day tour, it can also be good)

We are open for any recommendation, advice or contact!

Hello everyone!

I'm travelling to Kyrgyzstan between July4-July19 with my girlfriend.

We created a rough Itinerary and I'm interested what do you think about it?

I tried to check other Itineraries and opinions, recommendations etc. and we tried to create a plan that seems good and achievable.

We are going to use Public transport on July5-July7 and we want to search for a Private driver between July 8-14 that takes us to the desired spots. Then for the Ala-Kul 3 day tour, we are thinking about either going alone or finding a private guide to do the tour.
(Horse riding are in plan for sure, but we don't know yet at what spot we plan to do it)

What do you think about our plan?
Does it look reasonable and feasible?
Are there any downsides of our plan?
Is the order of days and places is good with this plan?
Did we missed something that we should check out?

Does the height differences are reasonable with this plan? To avoid Altitude Sickness.

If you have any recommendation, advice for either our plan or for transport/driver, it's more than welcomed.
