Bought my bike used four months ago and I’m not sure if the previous owner ever repacked the muffler. Changed up a lot on the bike and going through and replacing random maintenence items so I thought I’d do that as well. I actually ordered packing that mrd sells on their website but they refunded me two days later? No message or anything just a refund. I’ve been riding for years but never repacked an exhaust.

Can I just order and use fmf packing? Sorry if this is a silly question.

(Pic for attention)

Was originally planning to buy a brand new XR650L cash from a dealership. But all of them in my area wanted $10K after taxes and bs fees. Bought this thing at the very end of March and had to have it towed three times because of random breakdowns that left me stranded. All fixed up now and it rips. If you live in a big city I don’t think there’s anything more fun than a dual sport or supermoto.

Eventually wanna do aftermarket suspension and a supermoto set up. Last picture is the before from prev owner.

Was replacing my front pads and rotors and started wondering if there’s something I can replace the stock speedometer gear with? A spacer or something? I have a trail tech vapor and the magnet on the rotor for speed readings and mileage.

This was after one trip from Jamaica to the Bronx zoo on the Q44. I’ve seen people all over social media complaining about roaches on buses, does anyone think about what causes it? The bus was just washed swept and mopped when I left the depot. Also want to point out fare evasion on the SBS routes is crazy. Is the reason no one respects this communal space because it’s defacto free?
