There's a heatwave right now so I like to watch cold weather media while I suffer glued to my fan.

What horror film or TV episodes taking place under cold weather do you like?

the snowier the better

my immediate thoughts are:

- The Thing

- The X-Files - Ice (s1e8)

- Nosferatu (2024)

I started Carmilla and noticed that the spelling of words wasn't consistently the british spelling nor the US one

there are both instances of "colour" and "color" but idk if it's just how it was written

It was a book or maybe books I read in middle school iirc, it can't be from later than 2017, I don't think it was an old book to probably published in the 2010s or 2000s

I only remember that the deuteragonist was a girl and she learned to wield a twinblade

she was young, maybe a child when she was introduced and grew up?
