That scheme doesn't come off as well on other DA minis but I gotta say I love it for Azrael, looks kinda vintage

First vehicle almost finished, still got to add heat around the cannon and a bit of work with the decals and the base. Also first time using a sponge, will try to get better at it in the future

Still got a little edge highlighting to do as well as some matte varnish here and there + decals on the captain (that i'll proxy as Belial) but it's mostly a done deal now, can't wait to bring them on the table. Got inspired by someone here who had a similar paintjob for dwk and then went my own way.

Last pic is where I started and I really wasn't liking it so I'm glad i found a suitable scheme for these illustrious units

Recipe is

White primer (chaos black for the captain)

Vallejo Green Ochre base

Heavy dry brush of Vallejo Buff

Agrax earthshade for the recesses, heavily diluted for the armor panels

Cloth is a mix of Vallejo Russian uniform green and AK gunship green, mixed with white for highlights

Ornaments are Vallejo Old gold + agrax shade

Silver on the captain is Vallejo Obsidian black + nuln oil shade

Purple is a mix of kantor blue, mephiston red and white

Shield interior and captain Aquila are AK Dark Green
