Just got Steam Link up and running on my Android TV. Played a few hours of HOMM OE yesterday.
I'm doing a bit of couch work now and I've noticed that when I maximize a window on my desktop (e.g. Word), the stream begins to immediately lag significantly. Restoring the window immediately improves the lag.
Any settings I should be looking for? I have an RTX 3070 so I've already enabled NVFBC.
Major premise:
My wife is waiting for her dependent visa COE still (applied early May in Kanagawa) - so she is not covered by health care yet. She's been here since mid-April, but bouncing in and out as we wait for the COE, and we just found out she's pregnant (~5-6 weeks by our estimates?). Because she doesn't have health care here yet (she has private insurance back in her home country in SEA), she hasn't identified an OBGYN here. Paying out of pocket for the time being here will be cheaper than flying home and paying on insurance there (even w/ insurance it's more expensive). First time parents and I think this birth may be considered high-risk as she's 39.
How does Japan work for early pregnancy and the run up to birth: do we find a small obgyn clinic first and work with them early then move to a hospital, or should we just search for a hospital immediately? (Although my wife speaks conversational Japanese, she prefers English speaking doctors.)
We're located in Musashi Kosugi area, but my office is in Hiroo (Red Cross Hospital is relatively easy access - but not sure she would want to commute all that way once she's further along).
Any advice in general and hospitals/clinics would be helpful as I am completely unfamiliar with women's health clinics in Greater Toyo and hurdles women face. Based on some searches I know major hospital to consider are Aiiku, Red Cross, St. Luke's, and Sanno, but would appreciate more opinions!
I'm also aware most places don't provide epidurals (and when they do, it's not insured), but I'm reading that some don't let you hold the baby after birth? (skin-to-skin?)

I recently got a Bravia 8 and am really enjoying it thus far. I have it connected to my Oppo 205 via HDMI 3 (e-ARC), which processes audio and sends it to my amp and speakers, so the Bravia is set up as using Audio System. That works great.
Problem 1
If I cast from PlexAmp to the Bravia 8 from my phone and then use Quick Settings on the TV to turn off the picture), the TV will eventually stop the cast - and, I assume sleep, (power is not cycled as I don't hear it "click"). This also happens when I try playing music with Synfonium installed on the TV itself.
Problem 2
This may be related, but I also recently discovered I can't get the TV to show me the output from the Oppo 205. I select change input and select to HDMI 3, but it just stays on Android TV (a brief flash as if it's changing, but I never see the Oppo screen). This occurs even if I change the Oppo to it's native input and not eARC. I'm still trying to solve this too. (I've restarted both devices multiple times.)
Problem 3
I have a Logitech Harmony Elite universal remote. I added the TV via the Harmony Android App (network discovery) and it was added as "Sony TV". However, none of the functions work. Anyone have any success adding the Bravia 8 to Harmony? Is this because I have a Japanese version of the TV? (I live in Japan.)
I've tried logging into e-tax via MynaPortal but am greeted with a blank page. It never loads. I've tried Vivaldi and Edge (both Chromium browsers fwiw).
I file with an accountant so I have the paper return but I was wondering if there is anyway to get a digital version without scanning the docs.
I'm a bit concerned by how often it's bumping into things.
I just watched it finish a cleaning, and with full confidence on its return to the dock, slam into the corner of a wall. I'm worried it's going to damage the apartment at this rate (and I'm renting).
I've recently cleaned the front camera and dusted the top too so I don't think anything is in the way. I double checked my app settings and collision-avoidance mode is on.
Anything else to look at?
I just moved and my ISP has stupidly implemented MAP-E and blocked DMZ or Port Forwarding on their supplied router (all-in-one fiber+router, so I can't swap it out). (Nuro in Japan if anyone has direct experience).
I used to port forward and access my NAS and docker containers via synology.me. Recently, synology.me is tenuous at best on local network (I have no idea why) and, obviously, impossible externally. This is the same ISP I used at my old place but the old system was not MAP-E.
My primary access cases (local and external):
I'd really want to avoid any situation where I need to VPN all the time and route all my traffic through my home network.

I just moved apartments and my NAS randomly becomes inaccessible over mynas.synology.me. I'm on my local network and it is accessibel directly by IP (including my docker containers). It happened a few days ago as well then randomly fixed itself. Refreshing the NAS's DDNS status page shows "normal".
Anyone have any thoughts of where I should look? One issue I'm wondering about is that my IP decided to limit my fiber+router all-in-one to MAP-E... I plan to complain to them about that and try to get a different set up because they also disable port forwarding for whatever reason (stupid restrictive Japanese IP).
I have non-standard circumstances regarding my contract cancellation and want to talk to living breathing human being, but I'm stuck in a hellish loop.
I call the 0120-547-033 number and go through the options and end up getting sent a text message to use a web page. I go to the web page and go through the options and I'm told to call the same goddamn number.
Somebody save me and tell me how to talk to a PERSON.
