Everyday when I leave my apartment, I’ve been getting increasingly frustrated about these plastic bags sitting in the bike lane in front of my apartment building for months.

So I finally decided to do something about. A week ago I got a trash picker off of Amazon and this morning I walked around my block picking up all the garbage I could grab.

It was honestly a pretty nice experience and something I plan on doing more often. Instead of my usual routine of just sitting on the couch and watching YouTube, I got some steps in, listened to podcasts, and got an hour ish of screen free entertainment while improving my neighborhood.

I don’t know exactly how often I plan on doing this, but I’m definitely going to do it again. I’m posting here to hopefully inspire someone else to do the same!
