I've been in Canada on a study permit for a while, but my extension was refused because my transcript wasn't uploaded. I was asked to leave, but I fell ill (cancer-type ill), and I stayed and applied for a compassionate TRP because I needed that treatment (to not die). My TRP and study permit application was refused because the officer still says I must apply from outside. So far, I haven't broken any rules. I am going to leave, but school starts next month. Processing time in my home country is 8 weeks+, and in somewhere like Barbados/Mexico it's 3 weeks. I'm considering going there to apply. What are the chances they'll reject me on the basis of 'What are you doing here? Why don't you want to go home?'

I'm trying to find out what the Nigerian media run would look like for film. In the West, when a film is released, media promotion looks like cast members appearing on Spicy Wings Hot Ones, WIRED's 50 Most Searched Questions, Jimmy Fallon, Essence, Vanity, J Hudson, etc. Anyway, what does it look like for Nigeria rn? I'm thinking ISWIS, Ndani TGIF, Pulse Nigeria, Madeaux Food War, but like, what else is there, or what else has potential? So far, Call of My Life is the only film I've seen that stretches this media publicity format.
