Prove me wrong

I am here to support everyone’s dream build, but the limited (specifically the 5th gen, though I also think the 6th is atrocious) is the fugliest 4Runner on the market IMO. 98% of the 4Runners I drive by are limiteds with that heinous chrome bar.

If you’re a limited owner, please post your builds here. I’m really trying to accept them, but it feels like a face only a mother could love.

2026 6Gen front brake squeal

My 2026 6th gen (less than 3000 miles currently) developed the infamous brake squeal around 200 miles on the odometer. It’s atrocious. Im not exaggerating when I say it’s so loud and noticeable it’s honestly embarrassing. Happens exclusively in reverse, and usually on the first drive of the day most noticeably. I have seen the TSB for 2025 6th gen’s- does anyone know if this also covers the 2026?

To anyone else experiencing this issue- solidarity. I truly have no other complaints, but the squeal on a brand new vehicle is insane.

Details: new off lot 2026 SR5. 7 miles at purchase, closing in on 3k. Squeal developed around 200 miles. 2WD. Stock wheels/tires.

Predator Steps

2026 SR5. Found a listing for predator steps for 390, bolts included. I’m new to the car scene, will these be goofy looking on an sr5?

Edited to add/clarify: I do not have a lift. My SR5 is stock height and stock tires. I do, however, have a disabled child who is unable to climb in or out on her own. I’m not asking if I should or shouldn’t add running boards, I’m asking if it’s lame to have predators on a (non XP) SR5. The running boards are a necessity for our life.

She was the best girl. Seeing her disassembled after estimate had me in tears. May she rest in peace. 89k miles.

Looking to purchase OEM running boards for my 6gen to have them installed on a 2026 sr5. Planning to have them installed by Toyota but hoping to save a bit rather than buying directly from the dealership. Thanks for any advice!
