Looking for a really good backpack cooler for hiking

I'm planning to do more hiking with some friends and want a backpack cooler to keep drinks and some food cold. Ideally something that won't leak and is comfortable to carry for a few hours.

Any recommendations on really good backpack cooler? I'm open to basically any cost right now so I can evaluate my options.

Thanks

Grandma still uses this Sunbeam waffle maker and grill

My grandma still makes waffles on this Sunbeam, and I finally thought to ask her old it was. She couldn't remember when she bought it. As far as she remembers, she's never had anything fixed on it.

I called it vintage while we were still talking and she looked at it for a second like she hadn't considered that. To her it's just the waffle maker. it works, so she keeps using it.

Does anyone recognize this Sunbeam waffle maker or know roughly when they made these?

Would be nice to give her a decade, at least.

Good value treadmill that doesn't suck

Been using the ProForm Carbon TLX for a couple months now and honestly… not bad.

It does feature iFit which I never liked. The software is still weirdly janky in 2026 and support stories are enough to make you question your life choices. But the treadmill itself has been solid so far.

Assembly was surprisingly painless. Took me a little over an hour by myself, no missing parts, no mystery screws left over, which felt like a small miracle. The thing is heavy as hell though, so don’t underestimate the box. Mine showed up looking like it got into a fight with a forklift, but somehow the treadmill survived.

Hardware-wise, I actually like it. The deck feels roomy, it doesn’t wobble, the motor sounds fine, and it hasn’t struggled with regular runs or weighted vest walks. I haven’t had to mess with the belt either, which is nice because I hate treadmill maintenance with a passion.

The main reason I picked this model is because it doesn’t have the built-in touchscreen. I’d rather use my own tablet than be trapped with whatever iFit decides to break next. Startup is quick, the basic screen is easy to read, and the buttons are simple.

Annoying stuff: iFit still randomly acts up, the tablet shelf blocks the display/buttons if you use a bigger tablet, the fan is okay but not adjustable, and the console beeps were obnoxiously loud until I turned them down.

So yeah, my take is pretty simple: the treadmill is better than expected, iFit is still iFit, and I’m hoping this thing gives me a few good years before it turns into a very expensive clothes rack.
