Can anyone help me identify this stove?

I just purchased this oven and want to try to find out as much as I can about it. I know it’s a Universal brand. But I couldn’t find the model number located anywhere. I looked on the back, inside the cabinets and in/outside the drawers.
Hoping to make this my main oven. Any information greatly appreciated!

Stove Restoration Frigidaire 1960

Hey guys, getting this stove for free from a family member. Any tips on how to restore this. I know the inside is very black and charred.

This stove came with the house. I want to sell it but don’t know what price to list it at. It’s a garland from 1918 I believe.

Is this worth restoring?

Hello all,

We found this in my grandparents’ garage after they passed. Wondering if it’s worth trying to restore or sell it. And if anyone could point me to a resource for valuing this sort of thing it would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Club Cookware 70's-80's - Are they dish washer safe or is it a 100% no go no matter how nasty the pan is (great grad parents estate)

I grew up and have used Club Cook ware, and never dish-washer-ed them, but the ones I've now inherited, have quite the collections and ...consistent odor, so I'm hoping I can - without destroying them wash them via the dish washer.

But i can't seem to find documentation for Club Cookware to identify proper care and maintenance. What I know is not to use a strong abrasive, - green scotch bright pad is my current max, and I fear using something like 'magic eraser'.

Thoughts/ideas and best yet documentation on the topic would be appreciated, thanks!

Vintage Magic Chef Stove - what year?

Looking for what year this would be.

I’ll be posting on Facebook marketplace available in Atlanta. The owner has had it for over 30 years and has used it and loved it. She is moving.
Thank you!

Favorite fork

This retractable pickle/olive fork has been used in my family since the 1940’s. There’s no manufacturer mark so any information would be appreciated.

Looking for info on my new vintage stove

I’m absolutely in love with her! I haven’t been able to find any info on this exact model! She’s speckled silver inside which leads them to believe she’s from the 1940’s to early 60’s, and she’s solid steel. She is not a double oven, she has an oven on the right side and a bread warmer on the left side. No model plate. I’ve found some this color but not this model, and none have the same top as hers. I’m in the midst of changing her from a 3 prong cord to a 4 prong cord to allow her to work with my outlet. Please feel free to share any insight you might have! Thank you so much! 🥹

Chambers stove

Howdy,

So I have a negligent landlord. Who refuses to replace this dinosaur of a stove. There has been issues with CO and gas leaks around this duplex with both my neighbor and I, so when I started to experience symptoms again, I got suspicious. So I called the gas company out as well as the fire department, fire department found nothing. Gas company ran their meter through the stove and it started going off like crazy. He also did a pressure test and found that it did not hold pressure.

I do not know if the average Joe gas company guy is going to understand that there is a standing pilot light to be lit when the gas is released? And even if this pilot is lit, does this effect the pressure test?

Another question. The "soup warmer or well" Is this also a standing pilot that needs to constantly be lit? There is a knob labeled "well" that makes it seem like it functions like the burners, all feeding from the same central pilot on top of the unit and igniting from there. Or is this knob just to increase the heat on an already existing flame?

While I love this vintage thing and wholeheartedly would like to be able to use it (My grandmother gasped when I sent pictures), it seems like the potential for gas or CO leaks into the home are a constant thing to worry about. What if one of the standing pilots go out without me knowing? How can I trust that she has maintained this properly? Such as the thermocouple or really anything?

I have considered looking for a "plumber" or "gas" related Reddit thread as well...
The landlord will try everything she can to avoid getting rid of this thing or buying something new. She apparently downplayed the idea of a pilot accidentally going out or the potential for anything to leak that dramatically. I just want to be safe and not potentially die again. I would like to not have to constantly keep an eye on this thing. I would like to cook again...lol

I hope you guys can help me understand this thing a little better. As just a tenant under a landlord, having to figure this thing out has been very frustrating. But I can understand them as being well built ranges for those that have the money, space, and time.

Thanks for letting me vent. Hope someone can help <3

Find replacement handle

I have a GE Americana double oven from 1971. It is a p797 model. The handle broken off when I was moving and I am so upset I can’t find any handles to replace it. Does anyone know where I should look for alternatives? I attached a picture of it before it was broken off.

Looking for info on stove

Hi guys,

Any idea if this stove is desirable? We don’t want to just chuck it if someone would appreciate it. It ‘works’ but def needs some TLC and possibly a rewire.

Appreciate any insight!

Help with this pot!

Looking for some help identifying this. I am fairly certain it’s from Ballonoff as it matches their tin canister line, but I cannot find this item ANYWHERE on the internet. Did I find a treasure?!
