Going from Brookline to LA! Need some Brookline-esque neighborhoods to live in.

Hi, all.

Gotta move to LA for work and I haven’t really been in LA for like 15 years, so I know the neighborhood/surrounding areas have changed significantly.

- my job will be in Culver City or DTLA (depending where they have me) but generally speaking I’m already used to Boston traffic so I kind of expect a commute wherever I land or if conditions change. LA is a car city.

- 1 bedroom apt, less than 2.5k

- I really, really want the feel of Brookline. Walkable, cozy, friendly, where I can get a bagel and iced coffee and be in a neighborhood that doesn’t feel like the city.

I’ve gotten a recommendation for Sherman Oaks but my very brief research has shown that it’s more family housing than 1 bed apts - unless someone can confirm otherwise!

Thanks, fellow Brookline-ites. It’s gonna be very hard to leave.

Hello, friends!

Hoping for some recs. It’s not for puffiness, it’s more to treat a dull, sunken effect when I wake up exhausted (or after a good cry, tbh).

My skin loves a jade roller (that I keep in the freezer), but I really want an eye product that gives me a jolt of coldness without relying it be kept in the fridge. And yes I understand that that effect is extremely temporary

I know they’re gonna do GMW next, but I don’t think I remember hearing them talk about their upcoming release schedules or pod episodes.

Danielle is still doing Teen Beat (and some others), the boys are doing their respective recaps… did they mention what or who to expect for the rest of the summer into early fall for PMW?

Or when they’d start the official watch?

I also think Danielle is gonna be doing the official DWTS recap pod cast that Bachelor Joey did last year… IMP her pod with Val and the fact that she did the official American Idol pod were big indicators.
