Hello! I’ve got a terribly kitsch orange tiled table I want to make some blue grout for, and I’m just wanting some advice relating to the chemistry I might be inadvertently screwing with by adding powder pigments to my mix…

This is ultrafine white grout (~930g, eyeballed a pour) mixed with an ultramarine pigment for mosaic makers (50g). Dry, it looks very pale blue, and wet it looks like this. How much should I expect the colour to change once it dries, and about how much pigment can I safely add before my mix ends up screwed? I’m aiming for as Klein Blue adjacent as I can get

My dad is guiding me, but doesn’t know anything about the pigment side of things - he’ll just help me get my water situation right when I finally commit
