I went to the concert premiere, and I can't say with 100% certainty, but wasn't there a sequence where this symbol/pattern was used? I recognized it from Neon Genesis Evangelion. As far as I know, it only exists in that show and doesn't have any greater context. Am I crazy, or did they put it in the concert program, or something VERY similar?

How far should I uncover this root flare? The flare has grown significantly under the ground line since planting 3 years ago. I was uncovering to encircle and mulch.
Also, would the tree suffer significantly if the two roots in the last picture are cut?
I'm planning to DIY a 20ft sliding gate. My current plan is to build the frame out of 1-3/8 17 gauge rail posts. See illustration for general details.
Ideally I would pour concrete for a proper guide rail, but I'm hoping this design will function well with typical rubber wheels until that can happen in conjunction with an electric opener.
Looking for any advice or suggestions for this build before purchasing the materials.
