-theres enough 2021- early mid 2022 leaks nd outside of grails, experimental or actually exceptional songs we good off dat nd more recent stuff should b leaked instead (except adl v3 stuff we good off dat too)

-adl v1 is more praised for its idea/general sound than the actual songs (U COULD peak tho)

-yeat needs 2 take longer break from music which doesnt end up in label/contract forced drop which will let him polish his sound. Post afterlyfe yeat managed to not only master AL sound but also evolve into smth completely diff.

-His nostalgia bait is lame

-a lot ppl cant stand the fact dat he wont make the same music anymore but the same amount of ppl cant stand the fact dat jus cuz its different sound it means hes constatly evolving, despite the fact it doesnt mean it progresses

-ADL buried his chances at fighting off the hate train dat is haunting him since 2023

uzi was the perfect person to collab with 2021-2023 yeat wit only other person close to it being carti (which nvr happened sadly). All the pinklyfe songs r fucking fire nd they match each other so well. Hell, even currently they still could work tg, yeat would slid on songs from dis new ep. They were so close man wat happened

I still see ppl claim the album is overhated or comments bout it being bad downvoted but only 1 dude in the whole sub actually cares about defending new yeat😭

First i want to mention things "around" album itself which r not strictly related to music itself but still make me nd others more negative towards the album.

-Yeat over the top hyping it up- nothing wrong wit doin most obv promo but saying everywhere its your best album for bs rushed by nike contract?? Nostalgia baiting wit all "every era" bs in interviews nd magazine. "Hella features" nd its mostly either short verse or a fukin sample??

-CD's lacking few songs wit NO OFFICIAL info bout it + delivery time outside of NA is a joke

-Long ass wait- we had no reason to wait 2 years fo dis if most songs were made shortly b4 album dropped nd previous adl eras alr were hyped up by fans

Now actual ADL problems

-Song structure- almost every song tries to be cinematic wit long ass intros nd outros or cuts, often wit sample dat gives travis/kanye vibes except dat it lacks substance which made it work for other artists, or hell, even 2093.

-Going into more Pop side of rap- its not by itself, it did work yeat in the past e.g come n go, but here yeat especially when singing aint doin nun interesting wit it, its not rly bad but it doesnt make me feel anything when listening, hitting high notes on The Bell made the song more dynamic but here it just kinda is, lack of emotion.

-Features mostly did nun in songs, or r A FUKIN SAMPLE😂😂😂😂

-overly sexual lyrics- obv yeat was always rappin bout fukin thots etc but these lines werent as often nd also were usually clever word-play but here dis mf is overly horny. Lyrics overall here arent great nd r shallow most of the time but it aint even worth making separate point

-2planes/wanna be me- i see the vision but dis mf butchered comm grail sm it aint even funny

-he genuinely aint even flowin on most of the songs combined adl preset/s makes sum of the songs actual snoozefest

-No distinction between ADLyfe/Love, tf is lose control doin as track 3

-Forced mafia theme absent from da album

-Terrible song selection- leaks say it all

-Lost of identity- its kinda combination of all previous points aswell as whole albums problem which dat it doesnt feel like yeat album no mo. I mentioned travis nd kanye nd it could sum up all of ADL. It abandons every sound yeat shifted nd developed/evolved gets completely dropped for generic pop/cinematic songs. So many artists could make ADL, only yeat could make up2me, 2alive, AL, 093 etc

Same wit other sub. Nun wrong having fav artist cuz even for me yeat is 20% of my overall play time but damn niggas here have their top 100 be practically all yeat and then have the nerve to talk bout music like u dont know SHI bro😭
