Hello. I'm living in the UK, currently in the process of being hired by a large government organization in Qatar. I have supplied my legislated documents and I'm waiting for my formal contract. HR have been painfully slow.

Can anyone tell me what happens after I sign the contract? Does the employer apply for the work visa, and if so, how long does this usually take?

I understand, I need to do a health check - when does this need to be done? As I probably won't be moving there for another 3-4 months.

I'm going through a high conflict divorce (no children), and reached a point where I have little support around me, except my therapist. I've been looking for local mens divorce support groups but can't seem to find anything. I only found AndyMansClub, which is more of a general group, only went once.

Just wondering if anyone knows of any groups? Or would like to form a small online chat

Has anyone suffered from false allegations during divorce? We were only married for 1 year. We only just started civil proceedings, my wifes solicitor sent a letter demanding some matrimonial jewllery/items or money for them and then reported me to the police for theft at the same time. I am living in fear, my life is crumbling around me, my savings are being spent on lawyers, I'm on the road to losing my job, my health is detiorating, i feel like im going to kneel over and die. I had a wobble recently where first time in my life, I felt like death could be my only escape.

My wife abused me physically, financially and emotionally and then got her family to abuse me to. She used me to fall pregnant, and then left me (and had a miscarriage). As she had a miscarriage, shes now on a path of revenge, continuing to abuse me after 7 months of separation, to destroy my life and take whatever money she can in the process
