Finally a salsa with some kick

At first I was just pleasantly surprised but it builds like crazy. Flavor is good but nothing too out of the ordinary. I like the heat though.

Double-u is such a dumb name for a letter

Like, "Yeah it looks like two Us" (even though it looks like two Vs but that would be stupid too) like that's all the thought that went into it.

EDIT: People ITT love playing hide the ball.

Fatal error occurred when running Atmosphere

Black screen with error message in title. Says file is 01000000000000001

OLED switch, I just updated to 22.5. everything was working fine. Updated retro arch to nightly build, that was working as well. Changed the UI appearance of retro arch and was prompted to reboot for it to take effect, so I did. Now I have this error when loading Atmosphere. I have tried searching for a matching file in the contents folder to no avail. Tried deleting retro arch, same result. Is my switch cooked?

My friend just texted me 'are we really living on a planet, though?' and it made me think about other conspiracy theories, both true and false

It got me thinking about simulation theory, the word 'planet' and what that word may mean to someone who believes in simulation theory. The implication is that it gives them a type of freedom in which they don't have to care at all about the planet. They can consume cheap materials and treats like a gourmand, filling the Earth with trash, as well as perpetrating other sociopathic acts with impunity.

There's something that leftists say, 'there's no ethical consumption under capitalism.' And I've heard non-leftists say this, too. I think some people may infer from this that they too can consume limitlessly et cetera, and how some of us are just miserable because of the dominance of capitalism and similarly give up on our ideals. I have felt hopeless often, but I think that there are some reasons to be hopeful and proactive, too.

More people in the West are against Israel now than they have been for a long time. Maybe since the 80s when the media actually persuaded public opinion toward sympathy with the unarmed resistance of the First Intifada. So many people in the United States patrol their streets in resistance to Ice, be they liberals or whatever homunculus-like political aberrations they espouse. People on my job site who I would have taken to be trumplodytes have surprised me lately with the things they say.

Capitalism could be rising or waning but some rising leftist/leftist-adjacent sentiment is palpable. We can't forget that things change: empires never last, and leftist revolutions have happened everywhere. (even if they have mostly been crushed, whether by years or a century of relentless sabotage) Hope you're in the mood for this today, I know it's a pretty liberal and conservative-leaning sub. But I implore that you shall always salute Mr. Bean.

Remember Deep Seek

How it was supposedly 39 times more efficient than American AI, and how the response from American Tech Companies was basically, "This is good, we can make use of this." Did they actually make their AIs more efficient as a result or did they just opt out since it would mean less money for Nvidia.
