Design process of my tattoo

Some days ago I posted some photos of my Danzig / Misfits tattoo and it got a really cool reaction from the community. There were some discussions in the comments about the tattoo being too clean or the design looking weird or AI generated. All of those discussions ended up very well and some people even apologized and shared some pretty cool Samhain material for me to download and listen to, which is not common in online communities and makes this one a really warm place to share things.

I'm an artist and strong advocate against AI image generation, and decided to post this process of how I made the design. I started drawing a rough version by hand, composing the old way, covering and re-drawing parts, and cutting the paper to move things around. In the second picture you can see the ink passing through the paper of an early design, which was a re-draw of the Horror Business coffin, but then I decided to go into some kind of re-interpretation of the Legacy of Brutality cover combined with the Horror Business coffin.
The next two images are the de-draws in photoshop, in which I decided to change the position of the hands behind the coffin to create stronger compositive lines that guide the eyes to the Crimson Ghost face, and the final image is the end result in my skin through the hands of my tattoo artist.

I got this Misfits / Danzig tattoo done yesterday and wanted to share it with you

Excepting the Danzig and Misfits typographic logos and the Danzig skull, the design was completely done by me.
