Senbamachi, Mt. Komorebi. 2-storey residential/small business

Lot size: 30x20 on "5-3-1 Shinrinyoku"
1 Bed | 2 Bath
~$86,000 Simoleons
No CC! Multi-pack
Play-tested and available on the Gallery

LOT NAME: Hanamigawa Toshokan
GALLERY ID: VesperX7

I built a children's library that functions as a small business. The structure is meant to resemble old agricultural buildings (sheds and a barn) that have since been repurposed into a community hub, specifically for the children in the Senbamachi neighborhood. I've play-tested it through several day cycles to iron out any wrinkles, and the only issue that sometimes happens is when a sim resets after trying to bring a book down a ladder, instead of sitting on the cushions upstairs. Though, I have seen sims complete the action without issue and many sims sit on the intended cushions to read. The elevated platform with the activity tables are accessible to children only (and toddlers) due to the height limitations. Other than that, everything seems to run pretty smoothly and since you'd most likely have younger sims come with chaperones, it can get pretty busy on the lot. My recommended small business activities are: drink coffee; read; use activity table; play table games; play on playground equipment. You're free to mix-and-match with the other functional objects I've placed on the lot as well! Hope you enjoy playing with this build!

I built split-level home set into a hillside to challenge myself with terrain and landscaping. It's another case study build. Based off the West Sussex home, "Clay Rise." Gallery ID: VesperX7

Old New Henford, Henford-on-Bagley. 3-storey residential

Lot size: 50x40 on "2 Olde Mill Lane"
3 Bed | 3 Bath
~$131,000 Simoleons
No CC! Multi-pack
Play-tested and available on the Gallery

LOT NAME: Clay Rise
GALLERY ID: VesperX7

Another case study build! This is based on "Clay Rise" a West Sussex residential designed and built by Templeton Ford (ref photo at end). I wanted to try my hand at incorporating terrain changes into a build and it's honestly become my favorite build so far. I had the most difficulty deciding and executing how I wanted the building to set against the slope, how to landscape, and making sure the unique roof all lined up/make sure it didn't clip into the walls. Biggest build so far, but it was worth it! The home is meant to be multigenerational with two independent dwellings (one dwelling occupies the top two floors and the other occupies the lower ground floor). You could technically transform it into a Residential Rental with that configuration in mind. Anyways, hope you enjoy!!

Two versions uploaded: Royalty & Legacy/Base Game only version and one multi-pack version

LOT NAME: CA 'DARIO
GALLERY ID: VesperX7

Inspired by the cursed Venetian Palazzo Dario known as, "Ca' Dario," I built a loose interpretation of the historic Venice landmark based off of imagery I found online. I've uploaded a Royalty & Legacy/Base Game only version on the gallery, which has the exact same floor plan, with minor detail changes of some fixtures (I included some pictures of the base version on slides 17-20). Just wanted to make a build with limited pack usage this time around, so I hope you enjoy whichever version you download! Thanks for looking!

An unassuming Nordhaven townhouse with a private terraced garden alongside a hidden courtyard cafe

Gammelvik, Nordhaven. Five-storey townhouse with an adjacent two-storey small business

Lot size: 30x20 on Fisher's Horizon
3 Bed | 5 Bath
~$260,000 Simoleons
No CC! (Matisse poster found on the gallery and doesn't categorize as "CC" when uploaded)
Play-tested and available on the Gallery

GALLERY ID: VesperX7

I love finding tucked away areas in cities, so I built this townhouse/small business focusing on that concept. They're meant to be unassuming on the exterior, but when your sim pops around the corner, they can find a courtyard cafe attached to a small artisanal art shop/art studio. The townhouse has more eclectic interiors and gradually steps up to towards a tucked-away terraced garden. The garden room/library has two Victorian-style conservatory roofs and has a secret water closet behind a bookshelf.

Everything has been play-tested, including the small-business portion. Hope you enjoy!!

A Jewelsmith's Villa

Porto Luminoso, Tartosa. Three-storey villa with a sunken garden

Lot size: 20x20 on Piccola Luce. No CC! Play-tested and available on the Gallery.

EA ID: VesperX7

A villa built specifically for my spellcaster jewelsmith and her small business. It was designed with the idea that she would have renovated a 400-year-old building to accommodate her shop on the ground floor, residence upstairs, and her messier studio spaces in the tower. The shop also opens up to two verandas overlooking the ocean, where customers sit and chat throughout the day. Along the west side of the lot are her private gardens - the sunken garden for her herbs/vegetables/magical ingredients, and a small walking garden for her flowers and crystal tree.

Thanks for looking and hope you enjoy!

An old vicarage inspired by a real home in Oxfordshire

Placed on the 30x20 lot, 5 Cobblebottom Street. I originally built this a while back when I came across a video tour of a countryside house in Oxfordshire. I replicated several of the key boutique interiors as best I could and took a few creative liberties along the way. My favorite bits were the bold tiles in the entry, which were original to the building (my closest alternatives were the tiles from For Rent). Loved the bolder choices throughout the interiors and the mix of old and new. There were a few things I wouldn't normally choose, so it was nice to play around with this one. Hope you enjoy!

[TotK] Princess Zelda's Secret Well, fanart by me [OC]

This is the first of a few paintings from TotK that focus on workspaces/workshops in that universe. Zelda's makeshift desk in her hidden well turned out to look more "lofi girl" than I had intended lmao. I'm looking into either the Lookout Landing research area or Kakariko Village's researcher's area under the fallen ruin for the next one!

I painted a piece inspired by Nicole's teaser by Studio FLiiiP

Absolutely loved the animated teaser that Studio FLiiiP made for Nicole's teaser! From the slightly gothic tone to the old-school animation style, everything was so well executed (also the lore!). The beginning of the teaser reminded me a lot of Angel's Egg and the wispy, fallen angels were hauntingly beautiful. Hope you enjoy!

More Genshin paintings for some Inazuma appreciation ft. Kazuha

I made a couple more digital paintings experimenting in HeavyPaint. The first is in portrait orientation (2400x3000px) which works well for phone backgrounds, and the second is a big ol' moody landscape (3840x1846px) which suits desktop backgrounds. If reddit compresses these specific files too much, you can download them off of my Cara. I also have an Instagram where I'm most consistent with posting. Enjoy!

I wanted to test out a painting app (HeavyPaint) and used the opportunity to make some overdue fanart! I miss the vibrant Natlan scenery so I picked a couple of spots I had photographed back during initial explorations. I used to sketch out exploration journals, but I've pivoted to just making an odd landscape here and there. Hope you enjoy!
