Crescent Moon Hair Spike
A little moon themed hair spike. Could've spent more time polishing but I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Does anyone have any recommendations for vendor insurance? I'll be selling a few things and doing some live demos if possible at a one off event in October. Trying to figure out what the best route would be for insurance. Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm a hobby blacksmith and don't operate as a business if that's important.
Picked up from Facebook marketplace for $100. Didn't have a spring or mounting plate so I forged and fabricated everything it was missing. Vise is around 90lbs not including the stand. Added little caster wheels so I can move it around easily. Genuinely in love with this beautiful tool.
90 lbs and sexy af. Needed some TLC and still have to make a spring and mounting plate for it but for $100 I'd say I'm pretty damn happy. Pretty sure it's a forged vice but if anyone else has any information they can gather off the pics lmk. Couldn't find any sort of markings or brandings.
Pretty sure people thought this was a collar on my other post so here's it's actual intended function haha.
Had a lot of fun making this. I'll post a vid of what it looks like while I'm wearing it a bit later.
Edit: I swear it's not a collar guys lmao
Clip took some time to get right but I'm really happy with how they came out. Idea stolen from u/WalkAboutFarms.
Made them in less than an hour. Really feel like im getting the hang of making tongs.
Today's project. Had the idea kicking around in my head for a few days and I'm pleased with how it turned out.
Both found by Seely Lake, Montana. Pretty sure theyre deer bomes. Hoping to clean them up and take em home when I fly back to the east Coast.
Been messing with lighting and materials. Anyone have any tips on the program they wish they knew when they started?
Digitally sculpted and cast using lost wax casting
Another spike but with purpose this time
Cast in silica bronze and patinad with cupric nitrate
A lot of you wanted a tutorial on how to make one so here it is!
More hammer practice, these are fun to make honestly.
Made this little object to practice hammer control and making diamond tapers. Not sure what to do with it but I think it's pretty neat.
Made this to replace the store bought hardware for a belt I wear with my dark souls costume.
