Since capital gains will be taxed a lot more now, do dividend stocks make more sense than indexing?

Chronically dry/ bloody sinuses?

Have had dry eyes/ sinuses/ lips for a while, however in the last 1-2 years has got significantly worse especially in cold low humidity months/ areas. Have tried all the gels and gels but nothing seems to help with the dryness, will constantly wake up with dried and or congested sinuses full of chunks of blood etc. Any idea what could help this?

Best way to take notes during maths tutorials?

I am struggling to keep up with the teaching (linear algebra/ Calculus/ Trigonometry) and have tried taking notes but they don't seem to be effective or I feel like they are slowing me down even more.

Offset account doesn't reduce repayment amount?

Was just looking into offset accounts and found they apparently don't reduce the repayment amount, only the portion that is interest and repayment, the repayment portion increases?

I assumed it would reduce your mortgage repayment but that seems to be the case only if you are paying an interest only loan.

Are index funds/ etf's still the best investment strategy with the new tax changes?

The loss of CGT discount and 30% minimum tax on capital gains will have a big impact, do you think index investing will still be the best strategy for the long term?

Is brick always the best option when looking for property?

Usually gets recommended the most as they are durable and less issues etc, would you generally rule out buying anything else or would you consider buying non brick properties as well?
