The Odin Project vs Full Stack Open vs Free Code Camp?

Just looking for opinions on these, I like that TOP and FSO have lots of projects so you end up with a portfolio etc, but they seem more difficult than FCC and have also heard that TOP is very boring/ a lot of reading. However FCC and TOP seem to have more support with the discord servers etc

Anyone living near a data centre?

Have seen a lot of houses going down in value after a data centre has been built near them, or complaining about the noise pollution etc.

Anyone able to share their experience, how loud are they, what impact they have had and how far away do you have to be to reduce the impact?

Much harder to keep homes here warm due to building quality/ insulation?

Compared to much colder places like Canada or Sweden etc. it seems almost impossible to keep homes / apartments here warm in winter or cool in the summer, relying on heating and air conditioning which doesn't seem very efficient/ green.

Wouldn't it be better long term thinking to have better standards and insulation?

Also less tacky than a bulky AC unit you have run constantly/ replace and repair

Games that don't feel like work?

Haven't really gamed much for a long time and having trouble enjoying anything I try, seems like games aren't really fun anymore?

They are either too intense e.g require lengthy tutorials etc before actually being able to play, multiplayer that are full of professionals, so I end up feeling more stressed after playing.

Or the games are too slow paced, wondering around aimlessly collecting items or looking for things and end up getting bored.

Seems like games stopped being fun, anyone else feel this way?

Is a finance degree worthwhile?

What are is the job market like and typical roles one would end up in?

Seems a broad industry as there is investment banking/ analysts then also more basic areas like payroll etc?

Does the uni make a big difference?

What courses/ pathway would be the best to actually get a job?

Seems so many courses out there e.g freecodecamp, TOP, helsinki MOOC etc. But people say these are just introduction courses/ the start of your learning process.

Are there any defined pathways that actually lead to the end goal of getting employed other than an IT/ CS degree? Or is that the only real option, especially in the current market?

What do people generally do after TOP?
