I’m dropping my kid off at Fordham in New York City to start college and there are mature elm trees everywhere around here. It is incredible. I haven’t seen this many since I was a kid in Chicago and they were chopping them all down due to Dutch Elm disease.

Introduced to Big Thief by my daughter and this was my second time seeing them. I love that they are such a present band and that you never know what they’re going to play. There is a small hill to the left of the stage up front and it was the perfect spot to see everything. Hope those who went had a blast. My favorite part were the songs with her brother, Noah. What were yours?
About 1/2 way through the show from last night and it sounds like they didn't use a lot of their "now" pedals/synths. Is it just me or was it a more pure instrument show than in recent days?
It would be pretty on-point for them to mimic their rigs from each year for each of these shows.
