We finally got Taco Bell’s Baja Blast in the UK. I’m horrified.

I was told it’s tropical, lime, citrus. All my favourite things. It looks DELICIOUS. I’ve wanted it ever since I saw it in the US.

Tell me why it tastes like bad cherry coke? I was having war flashbacks to being 16 getting drunk of disaronno and coke. It actually had an almondy/cherry taste. So bizarre.

Is it because it’s zero sugar or because its the ‘English’ version? What does it taste like to you?

Is there any way to cook for homeless people in MK?

This might be abit niche but wondering if someone knows a way -

Is there a charity where I can cook at my home in batches and deliver it to people who will hand it out to the homeless in MK? I would portion everything out in foil containers.

Went to a swimming lake today and the swimsuit rules seemed odd?

It said you could wear a normal women’s swim suit but not one with long sleeves. You could wear a wetsuit with short sleeves but not long. They turned me away because my swimsuit had a little skirt attached (for modesty). It says ‘for hygiene and safety’ but what does that mean?

I understand if you are wearing loose flowing garments it can be dangerous underwater but what’s the difference between a short sleeved wetsuit and a long sleeved one?! I was really confused.

How many prunes a day are we eating to keep us regular?

I just discovered that I don’t hate them! Yay! I struggle badly with constipation and want to eat them every day to help. I think a serving is 6. What do you guys do?

EDIT: I eat a perfectly balanced diet and I have tried everything under the sun including effing psyllium husk and it doesn’t work for me so please don’t suggest it :)

Please explain to me like I’m 5 how to use the stupid greenhouse

I unlocked it a while ago and I was underwhelmed. It has 6 little squares in the middle to plant. What the hell am I supposed to be doing? Can I ‘unlock’ the rest of the squares??

[routine help] Skin on my body got suddenly really dry and moisturising isn’t helping

Am I doing something wrong? Ive never had dry skin before so it’s not something I’m used to. The skin on my face is not dry and hasn’t changed. (Except my lips)

About 2 weeks ago I realised my hands, lips and feet were getting really dry.

Things I did to try and help:

- changed my body wash/soap to a serum body wash
-started using body lotion and oil after the shower
- I put a heavy thick cream on my hands and feet at night
- bought many many different lip products including exfoliator, serums, oils, cocoa butter etc

It doesn’t seem to make any difference at all. I upped my water intake because I was worried it was that.

I don’t live in a hot or dry climate. My diet and lifestyle hasn’t changed in any way. I’m not asking for medical advice but IS there a medical that could be behind this that I should get checked out? Am I just getting old?! I’m 32 female.

Products I’ve been using:

-Nivea creme (blue tub)
-Neutrogena Norwegian formula concentrated
-Aveeno body oil
-Palmers cocoa butter
-Dove 1/4 moisturiser shower creme
-Dove serum body wash

I know context matters but I won’t bore you with all the details. Long story short: flat is lovely and in great condition in a great location, 2 bed 2 bath. There’s nothing wrong with the property.

We own 60% of it so that means we can’t sell it for less than the valuation. Of course with the service charge, rent and cozzie livs it’s probably unaffordable even on shared ownership.

It’s been on and off the market for the last 2 years almost. We’ve had only a handful of people come to look around, two of which seemed serious and viewed it a couple of times. Feedback was always great. I actually changed estate agents because I was convinced that the EA we used before was just dicking around. Now we have a different EA but it’s the same story. They said there’s 500+ apartments for sale in our area so anyone looking to buy has a ton of options.

Would I be better off buying the place outright and then selling it for less just to get out of here? We are absolutely desperate to move and have been for years.

For context I am English and assume I have the English version of the game? I don’t know if it’s different in the USA/other English speaking countries.

In some of the quests my character keeps saying ‘I’m knackered’ instead of ‘tired’. It’s funny for two reasons:

  1. It’s a very British word/saying that I wasn’t expecting to see. It’s used multiple times and makes me smile everytime 😂

  2. When I was younger (in the 90s!) we were told that it was rude to say as it meant sexually spent. 😂 I’m not sure that’s the actual origin of the word but I know many people my age were told this!

Is there a translation in other languages to something dialect like this? Just interested!
