This or the opposite?

I will be routing this body soon, after I get some advice. It has been a while since I have used a router so I don't want to mess it up.

After doing some research this seems to be the way that I should do it, but please tell me if I am wrong.

I have belt sanded the body down closer to the line than this, so don't worry about that part, I am just wondering if I have the directions right for the different grain areas.

I will be routing by hand, so from the top down as I don't have a table to attach it too. I also will be taking it slow and only taking small amounts off at a time and doing multiple passes.

Please let me know if this is correct or any other tips and advice I might find useful. Thank you.

Preordered the mini, still waiting on it to come in. Wanted to know what are some pedal types that you think the qc doesn't do well? Compression? Overdrive? Modulation? Lemme know what you think, and what never leaves your board even with the qc.
