How to deal with skincare before/after the gym?

I have naturally dry skin. I’ve started going to the gym this month. I’ve been doing my skincare before going to the gym, and then cleansing my face and repeating after I come back.

I know it’s a waste of product and pretty dumb to do😭😭, but I have dry skin and feel like I need to do some sort of skincare before leaving the house, or else my skin is more likely to be dehydrated.

I’m also worried that the skincare is too heavy for the gym, since my skin has been a bit more clogged and problematic than normal.

My morning skincare routine: Wash with water, aestura cream mist, the ordinary hyaluronic acid, vanicream moisturizer, skin aqua uv serum.

I’m wondering if it’d be recommended to just use a bit of moisturizer and sunscreen, and to do my actual full skincare routine after the gym?

I go to the gym first thing in the morning, and typically take 1-1.5 hrs

Aestura Ceramide Cream vs Illiyoon Ceramide Cream, how similar are they?

I’m asking because I’ve actually really been enjoying the Aestura ceramide cream. However, it’s just pricey for the size. I have very dry skin so I go through moisturizer quickly.

I heard that the Illiyoon ceramide cream is a good dupe for the Aestura, and I’m wondering if there is anyone who would agree?

Skin type: dry

Skincare routine: Cleanse, Aestura cream mist, Aestura ceramide cream, sunscreen in the morning.

I have very dry and easily dehydrated skin, so honestly no moisturizer is too thick for me😅 My skin gets dryer throughout the day, which is why I like to use a very thick moisturizer to lock in as much moisture as possible.
